Ankur has over 21 years of experience in MENA equity markets and currently leads the buy-side research team at ARAM. Before joining ARAM, he headed the buy-side research team at Kamco Invest across its offices in Kuwait, Riyadh, and Dubai, where he played a key role in the research and portfolio management functions for one of the largest investment teams in the region for a period of 9 years.

Prior to Kamco Invest, Ankur spent three years in Cairo overseeing the real estate and financial research teams at CI Capital. Before this, he contributed to highly ranked equity research teams at HSBC Bank Middle East and HC Securities in Dubai. He started his professional journey in India, accumulating four years of experience in corporate finance and strategy roles.

Ankur holds dual degrees in commerce and law. He is also a CFA Charter holder, a Certified Financial Technician (CFTe), has passed all levels of CMT and a member of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
